Who can attend?
Anyone can attend our Walk. The Autism SHARE Walk is all about community, and bringing awareness, understanding and a sense of belonging to our special needs community.
How far is the walk?
Once around the walk route is .9 miles. Our Walk is strictly ceremonial, so whether you want to walk several times around, run, or take our shorter stroller path at .5 miles, or even if you cannot walk, but want to attend the rest of the festivities there is something for everyone!
How much does it cost to register?
Registration is free. We want everyone to be able to join us regardless of ability to pay. However, this walk is our number one fundraiser and we encourage everyone to spread the word and ask friends and family to help support them in any way they can.
How do I register?
Registration is simple. Just go to our home page, and you can register your team, join an existing team, or register as an individual. We encourage you to register your entire family, adults and children. Remember the walk team with the largest number of members will win a trophy!
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed as long as they are child friendly, and must be kept on a leash at all times. Enter your pet in our new mascot contest this year!
Where does the money raised go?
We are proud that 100% of the funds raised stay local, benefitting SHARE and the families we serve. The funds raised allow SHARE to continue to offer all of our services free of charge and to grow our programs.
